Start with the amount a shopper can understand

Customer questions around laundry powder are usually simple: how much should I use, can it be used for hand washing, how should it be stored and how is it different from liquid detergent? For a private-label buyer, those questions turn into label space and sample-review work.

Do not leave dosage wording until the last artwork pass. Check the powder sample, intended scoop or measuring note, net content and hand-use directions together. If the pack says 3 kg or 4 kg, the usage panel still needs to feel practical for the shopper who opens the carton at home.

Review powder texture, scoop note and label wording in one sample file

A carton photo cannot show how the powder handles. During sample review, open the pack, check powder color and flow, note whether a scoop is planned, and decide whether the label will describe dosage by scoop, grams, water amount or wash load. The final wording depends on the buyer and destination market, but the decision should be recorded before print.

If the brand sells both liquid laundry detergent and hand washing powder, avoid copying liquid-detergent instructions into the powder file. Powder needs its own use direction, storage note and customer-support wording.

Leave room for local language and importer details

Hand washing powder packs can look spacious on a mockup and still run out of back-panel room. Product name, net content, hand-use directions, caution or storage wording, local language, barcode, importer details, batch field and shelf-life note can crowd the same panel quickly.

Ask the designer to reserve the required fields before the front label is treated as finished. A small dosage table or a short use note is easier to place early than after the carton die line and barcode position are locked.

Make the carton marks useful for mixed laundry orders

Hand washing powder often ships with laundry detergent, toilet cleaner, drain cleaner or grease remover. The warehouse should not have to open cartons to tell which SKU is inside. Carton marks need clear product name, net content, pieces per carton, batch or lot field, destination mark and any retailer code the buyer requires.

Keep the carton mark close to the retail-pack wording. If one file says hand washing powder, another says laundry powder and the packing list uses a factory short name, fix the mapping before shipment.

Match documents with the printed pack before bulk packing

Common hand washing powder order files may include SDS or MSDS, COA where applicable, ingredient notes, label artwork, carton-mark approval, commercial invoice and packing list. The exact set depends on destination country, sales channel and buyer requirements.

The useful check is traceability. The buyer should be able to follow one SKU from printed carton to packing list to document folder without guessing which name belongs to which product.

What to send Qiaoshou before label approval

Send the destination market, sales channel, target net content, planned scoop or dosage wording, label language, storage note, private-label artwork status, carton requirement, expected order quantity and requested document list.

With that brief, Qiaoshou can review the hand washing powder carton, dosage wording, label space, carton marks and common export documents together. The quotation then reflects the pack the buyer plans to receive and sell, not only the powder price.
